How can companies protect themselves from the effects of misinformation? It is one of the questions we are trying to find an answer to FORUM FOR IMMUNITY TO MISINFORMATION(#FID2025), the first initiative in Romania aimed at helping representatives of the business environment to identify and combat misinformation that affects the reputation of organizations.

Why is the danger of misinformation now greater than ever?
According to the World Economic Forum's Global Risks 2025 report, disinformation is the biggest global risk to humanity in the short term. At the same time, European reports show that trust in institutions and media entities in Romania has reached the lowest level in history.
So the danger of public opinion being influenced by disinformation campaigns is now greater than ever. This is especially because false information spreads much faster and more widely than true information, thus damaging the reputation of the actors involved, especially those in the business environment.
